Lovely sleepy town just 2 minutes from the Nurburgring entrance. A couple of great restaurants just off the main road, and many hotels that looked lovely (I stayed at Apex which was amazing).
One word of warning - they have an 'air raid siren' to call the volunteer firefighters to action in the event of an emergency. As Brits, we did not know this and it wasn't mentioned to us, so we panicked when we heard it twice in one night. Given the current situation with Russia, we were a little worried. Once you know what it is though, it's fine.

Anyone with any interest in motorsport will have heard of the Nurburgring-everything about is is brilliant. If you drove there just drop down to Adenau where great track viewing and a nice little town with cafes etc.

Cute town with an historic castle. Convenient to Nurburgring. Be prepared to do your own searching for open restaurants. We had to drive to the next town for breakfast on a Saturday despite the incorrect information on Google maps listing open locations.

It’s all about cars and Nürburgring so if you are a fan you will enjoy. There are couple of other things to do around like cute lakes, Rhine region with wine tasting, historical towns etc in case you are bored in Nürburg. And it’s close to Luxembourg and Belgium.

In many ways the village of Nurburg is a one string to it's bow place. But, what a string! A unique place - the ring dominates everything. If you are not there to ride or drive then to watch is an experience in itself. The village has many good places to stay and eat and the locals are very friendly. At all times during daylight the sound of performance engines working hard can be heard. Petrol head heaven!
I am a regular visitor to the Nürburgring and thought I would try a new place to stay. The rooms are very clean and seem brand new. The owner phoned to check when I would be arriving which was nice and allowed me to check in early as I was already in the village.
The car park has plenty of room and a safe place to leave your car after visiting the track.
Very friendly people as well, I highly recommend and shall return later in the year
We stayed in room 8 (a twin) at the top of the hotel.
The floor has two other rooms which share a landing toilet, but room 8 has a cosy en-suite.
The room was serviced everyday, and although not big, was very comfortable.
Our hosts were wonderful, as were the breakfasts.
Walking distance to where the main restaurants are, and a short drive to the 'Ring, I'd highly recommend a stay here.
Everything was incredible. Place was absolutely spotless.
it was almost an inconvenience how close it was to the Nurburgring, the drive wasn’t long enough to get the oil temp warm enough 🤣
it is fantastic, cheap.
surrounded by fellow petrol heads such as ourselves
very safe and secure
definitely do it
less than 5 minutes from Nurburgring.
Room was spacious for a Single room, had a shared balcony with a lovely view of the track and down towards Nurburg. Bed was comfy and had 2 singles pushed together for a double. Room was very clean and reset lovely every day. Plenty of parking and I had a trailer and had both cars parked and the trailer
Landhaus Balkhausen was a great place to stay while I was driving at the Nurburgring! Warm and comfy room, good wifi, and a great location for driving. They offered a delicious breakfast and were very accomodating. Excellent value and impeccable hospitality! I will return if I have the chance.
The hotel was fantastic in a great location, not far to get to the shops and a 5 minute drive to the track, we paid to park in the garage so we knew our car was safe, the staff were very helpful and definitely tried their best for us even with a little language barrier, thank you for a great stay
It is fantastic price/performance deal. Bed and breakfast style (you need to pre-arrange the breakfast), clean, silent, above-average comfortable bed for this style of accommodation, 25% price of the official hotel accommodation for the event I have participated at.
Good Location, Right Inbetween the Nürburgring facilities and the Entrypoint to the Nordschleife. comfy rooms, excellent service, and that smell of garage shop in the stairwell was quite fitting. the rooms smelled perfectly normal.
The property was close to the Nurburgring. Has great history being the garage of Silver Arrows race team of 1928. Has a fantastic set of pictures to back this up. Beautiful location
The history of this hotel with the Nurburgring racers is incredible. The fact that the service is impeccable just adds to the lore. The restaurant is a must experience too.
The apartment was immaculate! I have been to hotels that weren't as clean! Dima was friendly, exceptional and couldn't do enough. Helped with local routes and things to see.
Such a great german hotel, staff very friendly, breakfast super tasty, room was massive. I recommend the stay. Plenty parking spaces, and super quiet during the night.
