Stade it my favorite town in Germany. Very beautiful with a rich history (the Danish, the Swedes, Napoleon, Kingdom Hannover, Prussia, etc. Arp Schnittger organs), picturesque, calm, and close to the fruit-growing area of the Altes Land.

Charming old town with almost alle buildings from 1650 approx. because of fire. After the fire, the town was rebuilt in exactly the same way as the previous town with narrow streets. The area near the harbour, Wasser West and Wasser Ost, is very charming. The green areas around the town are perfect for walking or biking.DortheDenmark
