Reception is off the very narrow, but, beautiful street. A doorbell to call a member of staff. Once in you are given a code for the electronic sliding doors. Reception is small, but, clean and tidy. A glass floor over a feature is nice.
My bedroom was very smart. Split level for anyone with mobility issues. The toilet down five stairs. The bed is a big double and firm to hard. The linen is white, clean and crisp. Two bedside tables with lamps. A small two seater sofa and table up and a fridge and desk and chair down. Tele. It’s a beautiful room.
The shower room is lovely and clean with a good sized cabinet. A twin headed shower. Plenty of hot water if you leave it long enough. Towels are fluffy and white and monogrammed. Don’t take one it’s 29€? Little bottles of shower gel provided with a small bar of hand soap. Big mirror and shaving/make up mirror. Small window with a view!
The room has a balcony. Despite there being three other balconies in close proximity it felt private. The two closest balconies have frosted glass screens. You have to lean out to see onto the others! As I type ten Griffon Vultures are thermaling literally 20 feet above my balcony! My balcony has a fantastic view of the Colegiata de Santa Maria la Mayor; beautiful.
The village is beautiful. The area stunning. Lots of bars, restaurants and places to sit and drink. It is a wonderful place and a ‘must’ visit.
The host and his mum (?) are pleasant and helpful, but, not always there. You have to go outside to ring the bell. By which time the electric doors have shut and you have to pin yourself back in. A bell on reception would be better. Breakfast was OK. Nice ingredients. Not included in the price!

The situation is perfect. The car parking was convenient, free and secure. The staff were friendly, cheerful, polite and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. It was nice to have a comfortable seating end of the bedroom.

Located in Adahuesca, Crux Albergue features a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground.
The accommodation is located in an old (antique) house in the small village of Colungo. Parking is available in the streets nearby. The apartment where we stayed was very large, with a dining table, kitchen, sitting area with tv, large bathroom with excellent shower, two bedrooms and two terraces. The apartment was beautifully decorated with eye for detail and excellent taste. The hostess was super friendly and helpful. Truly a hidden gem.
When looking for a authentic Hotel in the middle of the Spanish Pyrenees, this is the place to go. Do not expect 5 star comfort but expect to be part of the all day live in the small village of Colungo and be overwelmed by the hospitality of the personal of the Hotel. E-bikes to be rented as well..!!
