Do not expect luxury but basic bed and bathroom are enough for one night before an early flight next morning. Staff is friendly and windows are soundproof. Hotel provides a free shuttle to and from the airport. Free and ample parking around the building. Inexpensive restaurant next door. Early breakfast buffet starts at 5am. Hotel is showing wear and tear but is a good value overall.

Area quite with total relax at 20 minutes from the old city centre of Bilbao. Confortable bed, spacious bathroom.

Also a short walk (Google shows it as longer, but there's a shortcut) from the offsite car hire places. You can also get buses from nearby or Derio, to Bilbao centre, which saves the nerve wracking druving round the city . We have used thus hotel a few times fir its general convenience.

We also appreciated the close proximity to the airport. (We've stayed at "airport" hotels before that were miles and miles from the airport.) Staff seemed a bit overworked, but they remained pleasant and professional. The room was clean and cozy.
