Traditional house, in a special historical village. Yes, the room was small, as expected in a village house of this age! Our room had a terrace with great views. We did two great walks straight from the door.
We were welcomed warmly and had a nice breakfast before we left. We will stay again.

It was great value for money, in a convenient location for us as we were attending a wedding at La Roca Rara nearby, and also just 10 min drive to the beach. the outdoor area and views of the coast are lovely.

Typical white-painted country house, almost complete quietude with a view of the hills. Quaint, interior but clean. Comfort only fair. Air-con in dining room. Charming, owner, Sodrine, who welcomed us with some home- grown veg.and courtesy tea bags.( She was 'cool' when we had an unfortunate accident with the parasol which broke.)

A town most tourist visit for one day turns out to be an idyllic home base to visit the sights. Beach within car distance/great bus service. Fabulous restaurants but quiet feel and great views. Hiking in the area is lovely but good condition and shoes required
Would absolutely recommend to stay on frigiliana rather than the seaside town of Nerja.
Eat in El Casino rooftop terrace or La taberna de sachristan across the church for amazing quality food.

A pretty village with plenty of shops and particularly good restaurants.. Stunning views. good access to motorway so travelling around is easy, but also has walking trails.
Close enough to the coast for beach lovers, although the beaches are grey and gritty.

A beautiful village with opportunities for hiking and more gentle walks. Rich history to be discovered for the curious. I walked in the canyon to the east of the village and hiked up to Pinto de Cruz - a nearby hill with exceptional panoramic views. Also enjoyed a walk up to the remains of the Muslim castle above Frigiliana, which also had amazing views. I didn't eat out but I enjoyed an aperitif with olives and cheese in a friendly bar in the village most evenings.

Frigiliana is a beautiful Pueblo Blanco.
Frigiliana is a beautiful Pueblo Blanco. The town is inland and fairly high up...but it's an easy drive to get there. Frigiliana is full of history with tiny winding car free streets, surrounded by gorgeous views and pine trees and deep ravines. There are beautiful churches, gorgeous restaurants and loads of small tucked away pubs. I recommend taking the footpath to the top of the hill behind the village...if you're fit and able and have a head for heights....some parts have a sheer drop. You will walk through amazing flora. The top has a ruined castle built by the Moors around 700AD, and incredibly they installed a hydraulic water system taking spring water down to the village. Walking back down takes you through beautiful gardens with incredible flowers....finally arriving at a beautiful bar with incredible views of the mountains and sea.

A beautiful little town wjth plenty to do and nice bars and restaurants.Interesting local history and spectacular scenery. Some great walks around the town although it is hilly and if you have reduced mobility you could struggle a bit.
Not too far from the coast and a regular bus service runs into Nerja too.A lovely place to stay if you don’t want a typical beach holiday.
Beautiful village. Beautiful architecture.
Authentic
Very steep! I was aware as I've travelled there before, but persons with limited mobility really need to be aware of this.
Excellent choice of restaurants
Attended the 'Three Cultures Festival'. It did get busy, but I expected this!
Beautiful location, wonderful apartment and lovely host. The views across the valley and hills from the apartment balcony were stunning. The apartment was well equipped, roomy and clean. It was right on the bus stop for Nerja and a short 5 minute walk into the centre of Frigiliana. We did some lovely walks up and down the valley from the apartment. We also had a great time on the beaches in Nerja which is a short 10 minute bus ride away We really enjoyed our stay.
Where to begin, if I could, I would have stayed there FOREVER!! what an incredible experience! The apartment was so amazingly perfect, the entryway, the decor, everything was spotless, inviting, very very spacious and comfortable. The rooftop terrace was so gorgeous and the views, the best! The hosts had a bottle of cava and snacks as a welcome amenity and it was great. I can't wait to return and hopefully stay longer
Thank you for an amazing experience.
As others have mentioned, the owner, Jesus, is warm, welcoming, and generous. He presented me with a lot of food because the shops were going to be closed for Andalucia Day. I was not expecting such generosity.
The flat is comfortable with a fabulous view across a narrow valley. It would be difficult to find a better view in Frigiliana.
The location is convenient to shops, cafes, and lovely walks. I highly recommend.
Right in the middle of the old mountain town and beach town and conveniently located close to the highway exit. Great sea views from our balcony. Traditional decor that was charming. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening and was pleasantly surprised how good the food was… outstanding. Ample parking. Quiet in the evenings.
Beautiful little hotel with gorgeous rooms individually furnished. good breakfast and small pool with great views on rooftop. Wonderful staff and Frigiliana to die for. Highly reccomend staying for one night in Frigiliana and this hotel is perfect!
Fantastic location in frigiliana centre. Short, fairly level walk to the bus stops and immediately opposite restaurants and bars with a mini market a few metres away.
Very easy check in and supportive host. Immaculately clean throughout.
Wonderful place with a wonderful view to Frigiliana and the sea, the breakfast was nice presented, the facilities lovely designed, you have a water cooker in the room and during your stay tea and water- a perfect accomodation
well 1st the welcome from the owner, she is lovely and very accommodating.
the house wow ! the pool stunning and the view to die for .
lovely little walk up the hill to frigiliana .
all in all the best place we’ve been to .
Great location. Very helpful front desk staff who recommended several restaurants. Clean room and quiet, too, despite being on main street. Underground public parking lot directly across street (10 Euro per day).
Everything! The high position of the hotel above the surrounding landscape, the view to the sea, the terraced gardens and multiple places on the property to relax, the lovely restaurant, excellent food and service.
Amazing old town house in the middle of Frigiliana which has been lovingly renovated
Very homely with lovely music playing in the background - even the wood burning stove was lit
Very dog friendly too 👍
the property was in an excellent position in the middle of Frigiliana old town close to many restaurants and bars . Everything you need is the house with lovely rooftop area and spa
The apartment was wonderful. It had the best views of the Frigliana valley and of the sea, and a large terrace to view it from.
Being centrally located in Frigliana is wonderful.
The concept of the hotel, the Chilean lady in charge, the quality of the breakfast, the house decoration and the village / architecture and the people of the village in general.
Beautiful, clean and comfy apartment in a perfect location in Frigiliana.
Anka and Oliver were very friendly and communicative. Entry to the appt was straight forward.
Wonderful place, good hospitable staff! We decided to stay an extra day and the hotel facilitated this. Good breakfast. The central location is also a big plus.
