A wonderful, peaceful and very comfortable stay on the main street of Molinaseca. It was perfect after a long day on the Camino. The bed was incredibly comfortable; the bathroom was modern with a fantastic shower and ample, good quality toiletries. Ana was so warm and welcoming. I would love to stay here again and again.

Molinaseca is a lively town. A lot of excellent restaurants, bars and hostels. Mountains and a river surround it. Through a nice track, 3 km away, there are two Roman bridges. It's nice for a morning walk. I saw 2 deers this morning.

Molinseca is a very beautiful town. Full of character.
Molinseca is a very beautiful town. Full of character. Some of the restaurants/ cafes were on the Riverside which was great. The locals were swimming in the river when I was there. I was happy I stayed there.
Lovely comfortable room and very kind hosts who made me superb scrambled eggs for breakfast.
The room was spotlessly clean, shower hot and powerful, and a sweet little balconette to from to watch pilgrims arriving into the village.
situated a minute from the Camino, just an immediate left from the bottom of the Puente Romano (Roman bridge) that brings you into Molinaseca. I appreciated the extra blankets in the cupboard as it was quite cold at night. I was as snug as a bug in a rug!
Alejandro is an exceptional host. Arriving later than anticipated from the Camino walk from Rabanal, my family were a little concerned. Alejandro was in contact with my daughter until I arrived. He even then organised for my dirty laundry to be washed and dried. Further on leaving next day, I had left my power plug in the wall. I was quite prepared to buy another, but Alejandro personally delivered it to my hotel in Ponferrada. Alejandro offers 5 star service.

I liked the warm feel of the guest's reception area. The room was clean, and the housekeeping staff was helpful and friendly. I was lucky to have met the owners Patricia and Jorge while seated at a local hangout. Patricia offered a tour of the property which has been in her family for generations. The property and family have a lot of history in Molinaseca and we had the privilege of a personal guided tour!
Good-sized, modern, comfortable and clean room right in the center of the village. Very friendly chatty owner, who welcomed us and explained everything. Free wifi, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Very good value for money.
Good walks right from the hotel. We can also recommend the restaurant of the owner's father.
I would certainly stay here again.
The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean and stylish. Rooms are super comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and gracious they went out of their way for us which was much appreciated. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous. The price/quality ratio is outstanding. Such a lovely little village.
The house is just outside the picturesque town of Molinaseca. There is a great little winery to visit just above the house. The house was very spacious for our group of six adults and had everything we needed and more. We really enjoyed the outdoor space to eat and drink and enjoy the sun.
Hotel and especially the common part is huge. It is situated on the main street almost in the city center. Our room was also very big and we have 2 very vomfortable beds. For the breakfast was everythinng we wanted. I don't speak spanish but we had everything we wanted...
Lovely, small hotel in a picturesque location with a lovely view of the river in the old town. Secure location to store our bikes. Friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. Great choice on the Camino and good value for money.
By far the best hotel that you can get on the Camino for 40EUR. The room was big and clean, bathroom was excellent and the contactless check-in was effortless. Having paid more than 40 for private rooms, this hotel exceeded all my expectations.
I had a lovely stay at Hotel Casa San Nicolas in the beautiful town of Molinaseca. The room was very comfortable and clean. The terrace is lovely, providing a nice view of the church. Jose Luis and his wife are wonderful and generous hosts.
Wonderful food! Great staff and service. The owner's son (sorry, I don't remember his name) was helpful and charming. The town of Molinaseca is lovely. Spend at least 2 days there to enjoy all of the beauty.
Very nice old building that had been tastefully converted into a hotel. Right in the center of the old town on the Camino, near restaurants and coffee houses. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Get small hotel a block off the Camino . Nice restaurants nearby. A fantastic, reasonably priced breakfast is cooked on- site and is served in a cozy breakfast room. The service was the best!
The convenient location directly on the Camino. There is a restaurant and supermarket colocated with the hotel. The host was exceptional even returning home to get a scissor for our use.
