I was expecting to use the SPA for free when renting a suite.

Property was fine . Owner was pleasant. There are no shops facilities anywhere near the property. No ability to make even a cup of tea/coffee. Atmosphere in rooms was quite cold . Not the place if you are looking for something cosy, we had to drive for 20 mins to Abiles Old Town to get food in the evening and then again for coffee in the morning.
View was beautiful though , but not worth the price.

This was the best apartment I have ever stayed in. It is just as beautiful as the pictures show. So much space! The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the best pillows I have ever slept on. There were even bathrobes supplied, I felt like in a 5* hotel! Due to facing to the rear of the building, it is super quiet at all times.
Avilés itself is such a gem. We stayed for 3 nights, and we are already planning to come back and see more of the region.
Our host met us when we arrived, and he gave us a lot of information about local restaurants and sights. We tried most of them and were so impressed. Casa Lin is an absolute must for a lovely evening meal, and so is the menu del dia at Casa Tataguyo. Try La Guindilla bar for a late night drink with amazing tapas.
