The Aubergue is new and clean. Generally very good. Normal Albergue faciities. Nice location close to town and to the camino. The restaurant and pilgrim meal were fine and good value.

Salas has a lot of potential as a town.
Salas has a lot of potential as a town. It´s got a river that goes through it and very lovely people. It even has great connections with the SANTIAGO CAMINO. I guess it could improve on accessibility as it isn´t the easiest to get to if you have no car due to limited bus schedules.

Although there were a couple of cafe bars very close by there was absolutely no noise late at night, it was very quiet and we slept well. Salas is a good, clean small town with a sufficient amount of shops to supply you with your basic requirements whilst on holiday. If we had the opportunity to stay longer than one night I'm sure we would have found out that there were many more shops and facilities available. We liked Salas and the shop keepers and people in general were very friendly. We would love to go again for a longer visit.

It is located in a seprate building next to the hotel part with one side consisting of huge window (there are curtains to shade it at night). The capacity was resuced up to 75% and all friends travelling together were put together. The restaurant is great, a bit more expensive but the food is really delicious!! During our stay the responsible people were the parents of the owner and they were so NICE and helpful!! I would definitely recommend this place!

Parking was available for free in the private parking area of the hotel. Breakfast was really good and prepared every morning so that you could take it anywhere. Covid measures were met and followed by all staff members, common areas and rooms were really clean. We got some nice restaurant recommendations from the staff and everybody was friendly.IgnacioGermany

The family that owns it is lovely and accommodating. The pilgrims menu was delicious and served in a lovely setting. We stayed in a a double room. It was the best sleep we’ve had since we started walking. Good coffee in the morning. Highly recommend. They also have a washer you can use.

I heard cowbells outside my Window (in the center of town)Absolut clean. We walk the camino Primotivo and nobody has heard about this little hotel. We talk to a man who run the albergue and he had never heard about this place. We were alone and we dont understand why. Very nice owner.

We stayed on the hotel side, but a friend staying in the hostel side stated that those accommodations were excellent as well. Location is off the main road providing solace and quietude. It is along the Camino route, however. The food was spectacular, especially the pork medallions. Highly recommend this hotel!
