Carole was absolutely brilliant, super helpful and a thoroughly pleasant and efficient. Room was clean, comfy and what a view. Breakfast was excellent,the home made jams and yoghurt were brilliant.
The restaurant across the road also excellent though book before (Carole can help there..),well worth it. Overall excellent place to stay, super handy for motorway,but quiet ,off road parking and excellent restaurant close by...

Great location just off the Motorway a few hours from the port of Calais. We were met by our friendly host who spoke good English and told us about the history of the farm and surrounding area. Very interesting!
The room was very comfortable, very quiet and very secure for parking our motorcycle. Inside a gated farmyard and in a locked garage.
Breakfast was excellent. Homemade yogurt and jams, cheese and bread. Simple, but delicious. Defiantly stay again given its great location and friendly welcome.

Friendly, multilingual staff members. Quick and hassle free check in. Room was small but clean. Safe car park. Cold soft drinks available in the reception area. In my opinion it's a good spot if your on the road, and want to have a cheap, quiet, good night sleep and be on the road next day.

My room was clean and a good size. The hotel was fine as somewhere to lay my head for a couple of nights. The Chinese restaurant next door did a good all you can eat buffet for €22.

We had a very warm welcome and our room turned out to be a very spacious and comfortable whole appartment! We wished we were able to stay longer!We had booked a table d'hôte meal for the evening, which was delicious and very good value.
Breakfast was generous and plentiful.
There is also easy parking on site.
Gîte du Château d'Esnes, a property with a garden, is set in Esnes, 20 km from Matisse Museum, 35 km from Saint-Quentin Train Station, as well as 39 km from Douai Train Station.
Everything about this property was perfect. We adored our room and the property. The room was just perfect. The hostess Carole was just wonderful and full of local history knowledge, which there is lots. The hotel has been tastefully restored and we felt very special in our elegant room. Breakfast was lovely and Carole’s yoghurt is to die for. Easy to find off A26 too. Already planning our next trip.
Very amazing style of rooms. I believe many ones are searching for that kind of hotel - old style with high ceelings, the same time quality of bathroom was very good. Quite, peaceful enviroment in old but stylish french farmhouse, in the middle of cosy landmarks
