Perfect hosts, great breakfast with some home grown produce. Hans was very helpful about the area.
The idea of keeping the original features of the old cafe is a nice touch.
Enjoyed watching the fish in the stream at the side of the house from the window and saw a kingfisher fly by.
The local dinosaur museum was fun and interesting, worth a visit but only takes an hour or two.

La Vie is a beautiful set of buildings with a very traditional French vibe. Evelyne is lovely and friendly and I felt very welcome. A VERY comfortable bed and beautifully decorated room with good tea making facilities and a lovely bathroom and the room was very warm when I arrived. Breakfast was a lovely variety of continental offerings and also a lovely dog and cats to say hello to. They also have a big spa area with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi which was great to relax in. You get an hours use included in your stay. I was on retreat prior to being at the hotel so it was a lovely space and gardens to relax in.
