The food was good when the kitchen was open and over the 3 nights we stayed the kitchen was only open for dinner on one occasion and not at all for lunch This was not obvious to us at the time of booking. Recommendations from reception for alternative restaurants within the vicinity were minimal and directions were poor. Lunch Bar snacks and drinks were available but there was no one to serve them. We had to ask reception to serve the snack which looked as thought they were made by the constructions workings

Staff was very friendly (except for the hotel restaurant). The room was an ok size, the location next to the chateau is lovely and the breakfast was great. Parking was very convenient as well.
