My stay was very comfortable despite the freezing weather. The apartment has central heating, a fully equipped kitchen, good domestic wifi (better than hotels in my experience), ample free parking and is in a quiet area. It is a short walk down the hill to the shops and there is a lovely walking/cycling path along the river that apparently stretches from Cherbourg to le Mont Saint Michel. Good access to surrounding areas, and only an hour from the Ferry at Caen/Ouistreham. There's even a hot pizza dispensing machine near the river, and I saw a mobile burger bar (I think) one night too.

Travelling by bike. Arrived late and wet! Hosts were very helpful. Excellent lock up facilit for bike. Quite isolated but a basic shop in the nearby village had enough provisions for dinner.
