From the moment I walked in the door, the reception was wonderful, I felt at welcome. I speak a little French and tried, my efforts were well received but their English saved the day!

Friendly reception (English well spoken). Hotel is on a quiet side street within easy walking distance of the sea with views across to St Nazaire and the shipyards there. Fabulous, spacious room with huge private terrace and wonderful view of the unspoilt beach. Comfortable, quiet and well equipped. We ate dinner in the restaurant - exceptional food. We came for the Monsieur Hulot connections but it was a lovely town in its own right. Would definitely stay here again. Local bars and restaurants were welcoming and good quality.
