Philippe and Guadalupe provided an extremely generous and delicious breakfast: prosciutto, baguette, croissants, chocolatine, fresh fruit, orange or apple juice, delicious coffee. They joined us for breakfast also and told us the interesting history of the castle. From the warm welcome by one of the owners all the way through the comfort of the bedroom and facilities, the wonderful breakfasts to the fine dining experience on our last evening everything was superb. We loved the quiet, peaceful location and having access to the garden as well as a terrace for taking a glass of their lovely wine. Cyril is a wonderful chef and we can recommend all the wonderful meals that are produced. He even added a special item for me which was delicious. We couldn't have had a more relaxing enjoyable stay. Unique interesting and fascinating. The delights of this property are the quirky rooms dinning areas and the location. Visiting was more like staying with friends than at a booked accommodation as the hosts when helpful friendly intriguing and interesting with their stories and knowledge of the local area. If you wanted a glossy shiny hotel that’s soulless then this isn’t for you. If you want colour adventure and a unique experience combined with the most amazing food then this is the place for you.
