Sous les Remparts is a beautiful, character home in a wonderful, historic location. Our hostess could not have been more warm and welcoming. She was very kind and nothing was too much trouble.
There was a very generous breakfast with local produce - all beautifully presented. We felt very well looked after.

Our apartment was beautiful - spacious, the peace and quiet, big rooms, gorgeous views over glorious countryside and the history of it all. Set in the heart of a stunning village. Guillume was very welcoming and an excellent host. Unfortunately the restaurants were closed so went to next village for a takeaway - which was delicious and the local tabac allowed us to eat it there with a glass of wine! Lots of parking. Quick, pretty drive to main route south.

Stayed one night on a Sunday, Limoges seems to be closed on Sundays but the hotel provided a bed for the night, which was very comfortable

The building is 19th century so has character and there is an elevator. The public car park is immediately opposite the hotel. The historic part of town is within 15 min walking distance. The host gave us a map of the location and pointed out places of interest and was able to recommend one restaurant. The bed was relatively comfortable. Breakfast was self service and cold but generous on pastries.

Very comfortable hotel near to town. Nice spacious room overlooking small garden, well equipped with coffee and tea making facilities. Had a bath. Secure parking under hotel. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

The room was clean and quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The owners were pleasant and friendly.
There was a good bus service into the centre of the city but on foot it was a good 20-25 minute walk to the centre so l’Aiglon is not exactly centrally situated.
However, it is a one star hotel and therefore simple and basic and that needs to be borne in mind in relation to this review.

Surprised, this is a new looking Hotel with amazing Staff. Rooms were smallish but beautifully clean and tidy, bathroom was great, loved th pivoting mirror! Restaurant for evening dinner was lovely and breakfast outstanding.
