I arrived very late in the evening and the host waited for me to arrive so he could show me round the property. The appartment was comfortable and spacious for our stay, used as a base to explore the area by bike.

Do not stay at this hotel. It is a complete dump. It may be on the route Napoleon, but Napoleon would certainly have turned his nose up at this offering. We booked because they said the room had its own terrace - that was a lie, none of their rooms have their own terrace. We left without staying the night. The owner claimed booking.com wrote the description. Booking.com say it was the owner. Passed from one to the other, both refusing to accept responsibility. Misrepresentation and refusing to refund. I repeat, give this hell hole a miss. It should be shut down.
