Hilton Cobham, hotel in Addlestone

Hilton Cobham is within easy reach of central London which is just a 30-minute train ride away, set in 27 acres of peaceful grounds and woodland.

Checked in by Lorraine! Breath of fresh air! She was smiling and gave us a lot of information about the area too... She was very welcoming and set the tone for our amazing stay. All reception staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us! Our room was decorated impressively with a card, sweet treats, and rose petals on the bed❤️. We were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary, and that really made us really happy 😊 many thanks to Thomas Collins & your team! Outstanding! Breakfast was outstanding. We have stayed at over 30+ Hiltons before, and this hotel reminded us of the original Hiltons, not the Doubletrees, which are now hit or miss... The Seven Hills restaurant was amazing. Many thanks to the blonde young lady who did a lot for us... sorry I forgot your name! Our Room 223 was OUTSTANDING... the bed was huge, and it was immaculately clean. Well done, housekeeping team! I have dustmite allergies and slept well, indicating that the room was spotless. You have no idea how I appreciated this! Air-conditioning was also clean as I actually struggle to breathe if there is dust in there! The grounds are vast and are looked after immaculately, too. I took so many pictures and inspiration as we are redoing our garden! I noticed some guests walking their furry friends 🧡 On this occasion, we didn't manage to visit Livingwell, which is one of my favourites. We had too many activities booked in the area. However we are definitely coming back and bringing our boys too. Highly recommend Denbies Wine Estate for a day trip and Painshill Crystal Grotto. All at Hilton Cobham Surrey many thanks for sharing our special anniversary celebrations with us. Your efforts were greatly appreciated *****

Set in Chertsey, 1.9 km from Thorpe Park, The Olde Swan Hotel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. This 3-star hotel offers free WiFi.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My original flight was cancelled and ultimately I arrived way outside of the Swan's opening hours. But the manager was very, very helpful and friendly and found a solution.

We chose the property Addlestone because it was equidistant to the places we planned to visit - Chessington, Windsor and Legoland - during our 3 day/4 night stay. Addlestone itself offers all you could need in the way of supermarkets, restaurants and take-aways plus a station for easy access to London if required It has a super park (Victory Park) which the children enjoyed

Addlestone is not much of a place.

Addlestone is not much of a place. It has all the necessary facilities (breakfast in Tesco etc); the inhabitants are perfectly pleasant and my hotel, The Crouch Oak, though very basic, was exceptionally good value. All this made my brief stay satisfactory. However, there appears to be little, or nothing, of cultural interest or beauty here. No old quarter, as far as I could see, unlike most of these small Surrey towns. Maybe a longer stay and more investigation would have uncovered something, though I won't be booking my hols here.
