The staff were incredibly helpful, went above and beyond expectations. We were travelling with a four month old baby and found upon arrival that he wouldn’t sleep in the travel cot provided by the hotel, they then went out of their way to find us a more suitable room. Every staff member we saw was incredibly friendly and welcoming! Brilliant!!

The hotel is situated in a quiet area close to the town centre and about 1.5 miles from the train station. Entrance is via a very steep driveway or flight of steps, neither of which would be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Our room, Balchin's Den, had its own entrance at the side of the main building. It was spacious, comfortable and had been recently decorated in a modern style. Breakfast was served in a large dining room overlooking the front garden. There was a self service buffet offering a variety of cereals, fresh fruit and bread for making toast. The cooked breakfast had to be pre-ordered the evening before.
With stunning, uninterrupted sea views over Nairn’s beach and the Moray Firth, this comfortable family-run hotel offers free WiFi and an award-winning bar with a range of real ales.
