We toured Ireland for two weeks, resting every other night in a different B+Bs. StayLagom was by far the best accommodation we stayed in. Although “Lagom” means something like “just right” in swedish as we found out, we felt like getting more than we paid for. The communication with the host was lagom - not intrusive nor repellent (as we experienced before). After we let ourselves in via electronic key lock we received a massage later that night asking if we settled in fine - just lagom for us. The size of the bed and its mattress was more than lagom. This was unfortunate, because we overslept and could not take advantage of the large kitchen area provided to the extent we would have liked due to the checkout time. The kitchen area provided (among others) fresh bred that actually tasted good - free use. The manor house was apparently freshly renovated. This was obviously done by someone with knowledge in the field of architecture, interior design and landscaping. Too bad we could only stay for a night.

I have travelled to Ballycastle many times - for its size the town has many amenities such as resturants, pubs, cafes, etc. The natural beauty in the area is great including the beach area, Fair Head rock formation, and the rolling hills in the area.

Sharon was a very attentive host providing us with excellent tips on where to eat, places to visit & with the weather being a total washout on our first day, with high winds, & heavy showers, she provided advice on some quality alternative experiences.
A superb host, providing clean, luxurious accommodation in a location 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from the town, with a breakfast to set you up to reach base camp on Everest...we would definitely recommend

This is our 2nd trip to Ballycastle and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
However, what we didnt enjoy was the fact, that we had a fully electric car and out of 3 electric chargers there was just one but permanently out of order!!!! which is just unacceptable.
Whats more,Bushmills also didn't have a working EV charger so we were very stressed out looking for a working charger the whole afternoon which with 2 small kids it's no fun!The nearest EV charger is in Portrush so one has to plan it's journey.

Great little seaside town!
Great little seaside town! Just ask Irene what to do and where to eat, she has fantastic tips!
Town has a laundromat which was very convenient for us.
Only a 3 min drive to the beach from Irene’s and easy to get around
We went to O’Connor s pub for dinner, great food and a good variety. Really fun atmosphere, and even hard our first Guinness here
Glass Island is the best place to stay in Ballycastle -- overall a five-star ***** experience! The place was immaculate, sparkly clean, with the private and public rooms beautifully designed in the modernist style. The location is a convenient five-minute walk to the high street. The breakfast was scrumptious with especially fresh fruit. Sharon, the host/owner, was friendly, welcoming, generous with great advice for restaurants, places to visit, and itineraries. As good as or Better than a five-star hotel.
Location was perfect, Ballycastle is a small town and the Marine Hotel is literally across the road from Seafront, and the harbour which is a very picturesque area. Perfect spot to stay with Children. From here we explored Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, Cushendun Caves, Thor head Dunluce Castle and the Glens of Antrim, but the area has lots more to offer also, the area has Outstanding Natural Beauty. Marine Hotel is the perfect hotel and ticks all the right boxes
The property and hosts, Krissie and Chris, were exceptional. The bedroom and en-suite were of the highest specification and extremely comfortable. Guests have access to their own lounge which again was so comfortable. Breakfast was so tasty. Krissie and Chris were so welcoming and gave us a tour of Ballycastle so we could get our bearings. This is exceptional, high end accommodation and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The house had plenty of space for our two family group. We enjoyed playing pool. The location was great, everything in walking distance & a great Spar just over the road. There is a great outside space too which will be lovely for the summer. There were plenty of extras like cleaning stuff, laundry pods, toiletries etc. Jon was a great host, meeting & explaing everything to us. We had a great stay, Ballycastle is awesome!
Pod was really clean and comfortable. And convenient to Ballycastle town. We paid for breakfast which was also really nice. Although I wouldn’t describe it as continental as per description. The resident alpacas were adorable. As an animal lover it would have been great to know more about them. Names ages etc provided along with the food would be fun.
Room was clean and comfortable and shared kitchen was handy to have your 'bring you own' breakfast in. Accommodation is essentially a room en suite in a house in a small quiet housing estate on the outskirts of Ballycastle. Owner was easy to contact and gave some useful tips regards restaurants etc.
The Cora Marine apartment was an excellent spot to stay on the Causeway! We had plenty of room to relax after busy days exploring. The apartment had everything we needed to enjoy some take out meals - especially on the nice balcony area. Michael was a great easy to contact host!
Deirdre is one of the most genuine and caring hostesses we’ve met. She truly cares about the quality of her accommodations and service to guests. The details and decor of her lodgings matter to her, and that concern makes each room comfortable and inviting.
Absolutely breathtaking property near Ballycastle that offers a wonderful glamping option. check in was smooth as it’s all contactless. there were great instructions on how to use everything. Add on options like a fire were great and added to the experience.
Ideal remote location - beautiful setting, absolute quiet & still morning & evening; ideal for exploring Fairhead and Torr Head, and close to Ballycastle with all that it offer.
Pod was clean and ideal for 1-2 people. would come back & stay longer
The Salthouse is a very nice boutique hotel. It was a busy time there and reservations for dinner were required in advance. Reservations kept reminding us to insure a spot. The breakfast was VERY nice with a beautiful view of the coast.
Bedroom and ensuite were huge with an extra large and very comfortable bed. More like a hotel than a B&B! Spectacular views out over the harbour to Fair Head and Rathlin Island, and an amazing host - what more could you want :-)
We were staying in the 6-bed room/ dorm with friends. The room is big enough, clean and the bathroom is well maintained. Beds are dormitory style, but ok to sleep (comparing to other N. Ireland hotels).
We just love the vibe! The owners and hosts are really friendly and invest a lot of their time making every stay as perfect as they can make it. This is our favourite place to stay in Ballycastle.
Natasha is fantastic and wonderful. She was a fantastic hostess and we really enjoyed our stay. a wonderful breakfast, great accommodations, and friendly visit for our family.
Fantastic location for a wedding at Marine hotel.
Brilliant apartment, super modern and stylish throughout and very very clean, would 100% recommend to friends and family.
Cheerful host knowledgeable. Clean room, nicely done comfortable bed, good sized shower. Excellent internet connection. Less than 10 min by car to Ballycastle.
