Our stay at Oakdean Yurt was truly wonderful. The yurt was well-equipped with all the necessary facilities and equipment for cooking, which made our stay very convenient and enjoyable. The environment was exactly what we were looking for—nice and secluded, offering great exposure to nature. The hosts were incredibly helpful and easily reachable; they even assisted us with starting a fire since we were newbies. One of the highlights of our stay was the night sky—the stars were so clear and amazing, offering a mesmerizing view that added to the magic of our experience.

Helpful and friendly staff in the family run pub/hotel, evening meal was fine and good value, breakfast was good. Room was clean and bathroom/shower was good. Basic tea and coffee making facilities provided. Good value overall.

The apartment had everything you needed if you wanted to cook for yourself. Metal steps up to your apartment from the outside of the pub and also through the pub there is access. Staff where great.

Location was nice and quiet. Pub and food was good and very tasty.
Very small village with only one general store. Pub wasn't open or the public toilets. Visited the Post Office for general tourist information - was no use at all! Good bus network to Lydney and Coleford.
