The staff went out of their way to make us dinner although we arrived just before the kitchen was about to close. They also helped with early breakfast as we needed to leave before 8am. Best hospitality we've had in very long time. Really nice relaxed vibe and comfortable room.

Charming old building, not sure if it's 17 or 18C. Big room, pretty view out of back window, big "sleigh" beds, which were comfortable. Bathrooms quite basic and a bit tired, but that was fine - they were clean and the whole thing good value for money.

From the cheery welcome on this delightful working farm, through to the delicious breakfast, this stay was perfect.
The check in was simple and we were shown to our room. The room was spacious, bright and airy. The homemade scones were a welcome treat for weary travellers. A great selection for your tea and coffee, clean fluffy towels, plump pillows, comfy seats to take in the scenery. I honestly could not fault a single thing.
I wish I could stay here on a regular basis, as this place was so charming and calming.
Breakfast was delicious with a great range, perfectly cooked.
The owner genuinely loves what she does and is proud of her home and it shows through. This is the bar to which all others will now be compared for me.

Beautiful Village, Castle was nice and the views very serene. Quiet and could only hear the local sheep. nice little walk around the block perfect for taking our dog for a quick walk.
Village pub was not accommodating, couldn't book or pop in due to the pub being an inn and was full every night.
