The hotel is set in a beautiful setting at the edge of a loch. The food at the hotel was very good and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is an Inn about 1.5M from the hotel that also has very good food. Many people there had dogs with them and they had a separate area for guests to eat if they wanted to have their dog with them.
This romantic 4-star country house hotel offers views from each bedroom. It offers a Scottish dining and local seafood in the property's restaurant with a choice of menus.

Beautiful view and location right on the loch side, Excellent breakfast and staff were very pleasant.
Eredine is a small village, very remote. The main attraction is the peace and quiet, very suitable for people with busy lives who want a complete break from pressure.. The visitor needs to be a walker or cyclist to appreciate the area which is very scenic, or someone who likes to explore historic sites. The loch-side picnic sites are beautiful and usually without other visitors. The cottage is self-catering, which is just as well, because I didn't see anywhere to eat out within a 10 mile radius! The visitor needs to come prepared with groceries because there are no local shops! The falconry located in the village is a fascinating, with a large variety of local Scottish raptors on display.
