The warm welcome, the comfortable, stylish and tastefully decorated room, the stunning view across glorious hills, seen from the glass extension, the outdoor patio, the fabulous breakfast. I cannot rate this B&B highly enough. Can't wait to stay there again.
Despite our short visit, we enjoyed strolling along the Wye...
Despite our short visit, we enjoyed strolling along the Wye Valley footpath on the Saturday evening, climbed the Pen y fan, criss crossed bits of the Brecon Beacon National Park on foot and by car on Sunday and returned home on the Monday. Staying at Llangoed Hall was perfect, it was tranquil, secluded and quiet. You're surrounded by beautiful countryside and wander their lovely gardens.
The hotel is unique. The building is iconic and the rooms, furnishings and art work would be hard to better. There is ample parking and the gardens are lovely, including the maze and vegetable garden. Walks from there are superb, along the Wye and through amazing scenery. The staff are professional, and expert at what they do. Dinner at the hotel is exceptional. The chef is a marvel. The support for guests with special dietary requirements is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble.
The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The location is spectacularly beautiful! The breakfast selections were varied from continental to cooked and there were choices at dinner which were all elegant. My husband enjoyed walking the grounds and the interior was filled with paintings and interesting artifacts. It was a pleasant hotel in the countryside!
Beautiful location. Great house. Great room. Hotel seemed almost empty so lacked some atmosphere. Skeleton staff in evening meant we had to go searching for reception, drink, etc. Those we found were lovely. Garden not as manicured as we expected. Feel you maybe are missing a trick; but not put finger on why. We v much enjoyed our stay though.
Very convenient parking outside the hotel. The staff were really welcoming and friendly, and the room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Our family came to the Inn to join us for an evening meal which everyone enjoyed, great atmosphere and fabulous food. The breakfasts were excellent too! Many thanks for such an enjoyable stay.
The hotel has great charm as a country house and is full of fascinating art works. A stroll around the corrdors enjoying them all will take an hour or so. It is also in a very beautiful area and a short walk out the back takes you to the banks of the River Wye. Dinner was excellent and the staff full of good humour.
Beautiful building in a wonderful location. Lovely walks from the hotel. Inside the hotel is full of lovely period pieces and interesting art.
