We adore the Wheatacre White Lion. We've stayed several times and it never disappoints. Jay's team work so hard and they're a great credit to him. The atmosphere is so laid back but everything works like a swiss watch. We particularly love the menu; we had sea trout which was absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be back!

If you want to explore Suffolk,/Norfolk area Beccles is the place to do it from and the Swan Motel is the ideal accomodation !The room was clean and checked daily, the staff were very friendly (made a fuss of the dog) . Sunday lunch is a must and although in the grounds of the pub which was very busy it was quiet and a nice place. We slept very well with beds and bedding, superb.

On top of Kirkley Cliff, overlooking Lowestoft’s beach, Hotel Victoria is less than a mile south of the town centre.
