The lodge was a great area for drinks and the pizza oven was a great touch. Staff were chatty and friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. Food was very tasty and worth the price.

The view was amazing, such a lovely area to wake up to. The cottage studio had everything we needed for our stay. The tea, coffee and fresh milk provided was a lovely touch and the park and trampoline were fab for the kids.
Great position if you are visiting Alton Towers or Splash Landings.
There are local country pubs and shops nearby to get whatever you need.
The host was lovely. We would definitely return if we're in the area again.
A peaceful village with limited facilities. Follow the towpath to the old Flint mill and its fascinating place in history and visit the Red Lion for meals. Generally accessed from the railway but a great shame the expected railway museum no longer exists, Plenty of footpaths but few maps - I used an O.S. map for general orientation.
