Everything! A mixture of modern/country.
The staff were all so lovely, I can’t remember the ladies name who served us in the restaurant but we want to give a special shout out to her as she was brilliantly helpful and genuinely lovely.
The rooms look brand new, spotless, coffee/tea facilities as well as fresh water on both sides of the bed. The bed was super comfy. And bathroom was lush!
Breakfast was included and you were able to choose from a range of options.
We also ate dinner and the food was 10/10 - local produce, British but with a modern spin.
We haven’t stopped talking about it.
There is a lush garden area as well for drinks or dinner.
We took our dachshund and he was truly spoilt, treats at dinner and a sausage for brekkie!
Location wise, if you want something off grid, close to Wimbleball lake it’s perfect.
10/10 all round and we’ve already recommended to family and friends.
I’m sure we’ll be back soon!

If people are expecting wall to wall entertainment on their doorstep, this is not the place for them. It is a very rural location which is perfect for those wanting to get away from it all and enjoy the natural environment. Similarly, if you are unhappy about driving on narrow roads where you are required to give way (or people give way to you depending on who is closest to a passing space), go somewhere else. This is the countryside :-)
