Spacious room in a lovely period property. Comfortable beds and a good sized modern bathroom. Food generally was excellent with a good English breakfast. Had mains on the first evening which were very good and smoaked salmon sandwiches for lunch on the 3rd day which also were excellent. Staff, particularly at lunch, were both friendly and helpful.

The location was excellent. The room was very comfortable and the amenities like the tea and biscuits were enjoyed. After hiking all day, I was tired when I checked in and just wanted to cocoon in my room. It was the perfect place to relax.

From the initial booking and contact with Rob the owner, the staff could not have been more friendly. Absolutely everything was perfect. The room was gorgeous, the shower amazing, the food the evening and breakfast was superb. The car and drinks were lovely. I simply cannot recommend this venue enough. Fantastic place to stay. Lovely bedroom. The landlord is an absolute gem. Has a fantastic sense of humour and totally makes the place as well as the food. So good is the food and the breakfast is fantastic such great portions. Room comfy and clean. We will definitely go back.
