Couldn’t have been any better. Very comfortable cottage with everything you need. Fabulous log fire with plenty of wood in the shed. Easy few minute walk to one of many beautiful beaches. Cycling is the best way to see the island.

Kilmeny is wonderfully situated, overlooking its own grounds and the countryside. The house is lovely, and spotlessly clean, and the owners Margaret and Blair were very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and happy. Margaret even welcomed us in with a scrumptious tray of coffee and home-made cakes.
The bedroom and bathroom were beautifully furnished, with exceptional attention to detail and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing; Margaret was very imaginative and creative with her home-baking each day, and she was very happy to accommodate our dietary requirements.
We had a problem with a tyre on our car, and their son went to a great deal of trouble to help us sort it out, he even put the spare wheel on for us. Overall they went above and beyond what was expected and I can’t recommend the hotel highly enough. We will be back!
