We were quite lucky to get the room at the very top with beautiful view through the back door.
The hotel is at the centre of the village, free off road parking area close by.
The hotel provides light breakfast at the communal breakfast area, with some fruits, sweet bread and cereals.
There are a few walking routes around the area which is quite nice.
There's a bar downstairs which serves food and drink, however when we were there, the bar was very busy so we got fish and chips from the village instead, which only a short walk away.
We enjoyed our stay at the Station House, South Brent. We would come again 😊
With a charming oak-beamed restaurant, this former motel offers home-cooked food and real ales. Dartmoor Lodge is on the edge of South Dartmoor, surrounded by scenic Devonshire countryside.

We absolutely love the cottage we have stayed before. It is so clean, tidy and has lovely little touches like milk, coffee left etc! They also leave a travel cot which is brilliant

Excellent communication from Catherine and great advice on directions and recommendations for Sunday lunch (The Cott Inn- amazing meal) and local walks. Made to feel very welcome.
The Old Pottery is in a very rural area surrounded by fields and all you can hear if the sound of the birds. We only stayed two nights but the place was equipped as home from home. Dog friendly which is a bonus.
