The house was picture perfect. The hosts were wonderful and went out of their way to look after us. The breakfast was homemade and amazing, With no request too much trouble. The linen bedding was outstanding .

An18th century inn the Royal Oak situated in Swallowcliffe a hamlet 11 miles west of Salisbury Wiltshire which looks charming and inviting. However upon arrival sadly not a pleasant welcome quite insincere from the landlord (despite having pre-paid for 1 night B&B) a very disappointing start to our vacation. The Breakfast was better part of our stay - the polite and friendly young female provided good efficient service.
