Very warm welcome and the owner Sue and her son Ted ran the guest house efficiently and very well. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good and everything was immaculately clean.. Bed was high quality and comfortable. Facilities in room more than adequate. Heating controlled by guest.

The location. The lodge is set in the grounds of a manor house which is now a hotel. Fantastic views of surrounding woodland.

Very welcoming host. The barn is quiet and secluded. Well equipped with everything you could need. Lovely outdoor area with a parking place adjacent. A comfortable bed for a good night's sleep.

This place is a little gem. It's great value for money. I have stayed here twice. The rooms are spotless, and we'll equipped with tea and coffee making facilities.There were some extra hot chocolate and biscuits too. I had a separate bathroom with bath and shower, lovely fluffy towels and complimentary shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Thank you. I will book again when in the area.

Everything you need for a really peaceful relaxing break. Didn't see anyone the whole time apart from takeaway delivery guy. Animals close to you who pop head over fence occasionally but are no bother, nice to watch when sat in hot tub.
Hot tub was fired up ready for our arrival which was brilliant.

It was very cosy, me and my partner found it very romantic. We were greeted in the morning by a very cute dog which was a nice surprise. The complementary eggs were also a Great touch!
