Clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable. Bed was superb as were the pillows.
Staff were excellent and I appreciated the latte when experiencing some coffee making issues.

My stay here was booked as a treat by my wife, and a treat it was! Although only a brief 2 night stay, it was exceptional. Janet and her husband were very welcoming on my arrival and throughout my stay. The accommodation is well situated away from the main road in a quiet area, but at the same time, it is well located for a visit to the Imperial War Museum Duxford, which is where I was headed during my stay. The B&B is exceedingly well appointed and very comfortable. The interior is tastefully decorated with a nice touch of class. I was able to come and go as I needed. The bedroom was very comfortable indeed and had everything I required - ensuite, internet, coffee making facilities etc. The breakfast was spectacular! Plenty of variety and enough to set me up for the whole day! Janet was even kind enough to present me with a small cake with a candle for my birthday, which I celebrated during my stay. A lovely, thoughtful touch from a welcoming host. Thank you! :-)

Breakfast was a shock - provided in an odd upstairs room with a range of ill assorted items of old furniture and appliances. Various cereals, 1 white and 1 brown sliced loaf. 2 toasters- 1 broken . Almost empty tub of Utterly Butterly. Half empty jars of jam. Range of strange cold items Inc baked beans, cucumber and and unidentifiable things which looked like dips. Water for kettle via tap sticking out of wall. Very bad instant coffee. Mugs with notice saying "For tea ONLY". Small
cups for coffee.
A very strange experience. Not what one expects for a buffet breakfast. We went to McDonald's.
To be honest our small room was fine - very clean, newly decorated, new cheap IKEA furniture, new carpet and curtains. Bedding spotless and the ONE towel provided was fluffy and obviously brand new. The ensuite was very tiny, but but shower was good and there was plenty of hot water. The bed was extremely comfortable.
In a tiny village south of Cambridge, this appealing 16th-century freehouse has an AA Rosette restaurant, an atmospheric bar, and new-build en suite rooms with free internet.

My rating is mixed. Several elements were excellent, some very poor. On the plus side, the room was large, and the village location was very nice. The food was perfectly good.
Went to Duxford for the airshow at the nearby war museum.
Went to Duxford for the airshow at the nearby war museum. Vistited the local pub and local grocer and was treated quite well by the people living in Duxford.
Very welcoming and very authentically British, Duxford was a very fun village for a weekend getaway. I went two days because of time restrains but I wish I could have gone for one day longer!
All in all I would say Duxford is a great place to visit if you want to see an impressive airshow at an even more impressive museum. Give yourself three days so you can see and enjoy everything this place has to offer!

We stayed at Duxford for one purpose only - to visit the Imperial War Museum. This was a huge success - one of the best days out at a museum I have ever enjoyed.
Food in the hotel was really good - well presented and tasty - although the menu was quite limited.

The location oh the hotel is perfect, so easy to get to everywhere you need to go. This was the first time we had been able to see my Daughter and Son-in-Law and our two youngest grandchildren 8 an 4 for the first time since March 11th, so this was a very emotional time for us. a bonus is that the hotel is so close to Duxford Airfield where you can go and spend a brilliant day

I travelled to visit the Imperial War Museum Duxford.
I travelled to visit the Imperial War Museum Duxford. My hotel was very convenient and the museum was good value with a large number of exhibits spread across the site. Plenty of eating places on site. Some walking involved between halls, but there is a courtesy bus if you aren't so fit.
This was a lovely hotel to stay in to visit the Duxford Imperial War Museum, as it was extremely close and convenient. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the room was very well turned out, and stylishly and comfortably furnished. The bathroom was an excellent size and the bed was very comfortable. We paid for breakfast to be included and chose the cooked breakfast which was very enjoyable.
Lovely, quiet location. Location was fabulous, especially as I was visiting IWM Duxford for my part in the GAvA exhibition. Felt a more personable place than the standard 'PremierTravel-Inn'...
Lovely touch to be offered a coffee (gratis) in the garden when I turned up.
I felt I was given the personal touch - felt welcome.
Everything, basically, was spot-on, a very comfortable stay in every respect. Wendy was very helpful on my arrival. My room opened into a rather beautiful garden, which given warmer weather would be a superb bonus. Duxford itself is also a little gem of a place.
I would definitely stay here again.

We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both meals were delicious. we will definitely be back!
Lovely little room. We were visiting the Duxford IWM and knew we wouldn’t be able to do the site in only 1 day so made it a little get away. In a quiet village location which was lovely and peaceful.
We stayed here for our wedding night and so did some of our guests. The hotel were super helpful with anything we needed and the room was very comfy and quiet. The breakfast was excellent!
Boutique hotel tastefully decorated throughout, spacious room (in the stables but not in the main house), ideally located for business visits to the science parks nearby.
