My four-night stay at King’s Park Hotel in Rutherglen was a remarkable experience. Beyond Glasgow's captivating allure and picturesque vistas, the hotel stood out with its unique charm and the exceptional service provided by the staff.
Their thoughtful gestures made my 50th birthday trip, which I had shared with the hotel, even more memorable. Upon my arrival, the surprise room upgrade, the fruit platter, and the heartfelt card were all testament to their commitment to making every guest feel special.
The hotel's clean and spacious room provided a comfortable and relaxing stay. Its convenient location, just a short drive from the town, made it easy for me to explore the city at my own pace.
The room was big and comfortable, with a full bathroom, bathtub, and everything.
I am deeply grateful to Patricia, the receptionist, for her exceptional service. Her proactive and courteous responses to my queries and invaluable assistance in planning my trip made a difference in my stay.
Another big shoutout to Gary and Caroline, who left the platter in my room and made the card, but not only that, I made sure I had a clean, safe space and made sure I had the most fantastic breakfast and dinner every day. Their attention and kindness will not be forgotten.
I will be staying at this hotel again in the future.

I had to attend a funeral and this hotel popped up on Booking.com. I subsequently discovered that one of my Brothers was born here when it was a Maternity home !! The bed and pillows were very comfortable And the service when I went for my dinner was outstanding. All of the serving staff were very efficient, and my meal was delicious.

I would recommend visiting The Eglington Arms for food.
I would recommend visiting The Eglington Arms for food. There is the added benefit of a beer garden as well as restaurant dining. There is also a small tea room, the Wishing Well. Eaglesham has a few small shops including 3 grocery stores, butchers, and bakery/sandwich shop.

Lovely hotel. Well appointed.
Lovely hotel. Well appointed.
All staff were kind, friendly and welcoming - all of them!
We ate in the hotel and in the attached pub
We took our dog - we was welcomed by staff. Hotel policy is for guests with dogs to eat in reception. It’s not really set up for that with table heights etc.

Good to find a dog-friendly hotel with an open space for walking right outside. Worth flagging though that the only place to eat with your dog is at the single coffee table area in reception. Would be better if a couple of tables just inside the restaurant area could be used by people with dogs. Good parking facilities.
Sandwiches have WAY too much mayonnaise on them!

This is a sweet little village, very quiet . Easy to enjoy a local walk around the park or venture a few miles away to walk on the ‘Braes’ & look in awe at the gigantic wind farm . Within easy driving reach of the city of Glasgow & several huge email shopping malls .

Staff were very good, very helpful and very good at ensuring Covid restrictions were enforced, i.e. mask wearing.
The quality of the meals was much more than we expected. Great work by the kitchen staff.
It was like staying in a house rather than a hotel - really peaceful location, nobody banging doors or talking loudly and really comfy beds to guarantee a good night's sleep.
You need a car to make the most of this, but East Kilbride is in easy driving distance.
Clover the cat and Olive the dog made the stay perfect, they are such friendly pets, we had 2 hours to kill after leaving our rooms but it flew like 5 minutes as we just played with Olive whose tail is always wagging and so excited to get attention.
Although the property is on a main road, this did not pose a problem and our stay was very quiet and restful. The property is in the centre of old Eaglesham and has some beautiful wee walks surrounding it, which are great for morning dog-walking. We found the property to be well-equipped and comfortable. The secluded, private parking was very handy.
Gorgeous peaceful location, with great parking, beautiful generously sized room & shared bathroom, both immaculately clean…the best nights sleep I’ve had in a B&B or hotel …& a delicious 5 star breakfast too. Laura was a lovely, warm & friendly host, nothing too much trouble . I will definitely return & recommend.
Very welcoming staff and on a cold day a fantastic open fire on arrival. Lovely room with comfy bed. Had dinner at the hotel and food was excellent and reasonably priced. Then an excellent breakfast. Hotel is in the centre of a conservation village so immaculate surroundings with lovely local walks.
One of the best things about this hotel is the lovely staff. They are all friendly, helpful and made a fuss of our dog which was nice. The setting is peaceful being on the edge of a small park but it also feels very much as though the hotel is part of the community.
wonderful location in a conversation village. garden outside , very useful for the dogs to have a quick walk, woods close by and a fantastic pub with excellent food close by and another hotel with beer gardens next door
The hotel is beautiful. It was well presented and clean. The room was spotless, bed was comfortable and we loved the skylight. The tunnocks teacakes were delicious too!
Breakfast was delicious as well.
Great location, and lovely modern and clean interiors.
The staff in the hotel and restaurant were all very friendly
