I rang before I booked and explained that our flight was in the early morning and would it be possible for an early check in.
David said it would've be a problem that we could check in around 11am
On the night before we travelled he messaged to say the room was already and we could check in straight away...
Great service Thanks David..

The Hotel is set in extensive grounds which are quiet and peaceful. It has been extended to the rear of the original Hall with two- storey wings of bedrooms and conference suites.
As an elderly person with mobility difficulties l reserved a suitable ground floor room and was very pleased that it met my requirements. However, the walking distance between the room and the dining room, reception and carpark was a bit of a challenge
and could not have been further!

Hotel looks lovely and everything seems nice.
Hotel looks lovely and everything seems nice. However, we ordered food in the bar and five out of the six meals were inedible. Food was awful so very hungry children. Ordered some desserts, kids ice cream was fine (£2 each). Full order of ice cream (£6!!!) came out smaller than the kids one. Took ages waiting for someone to finally. Come and address the problems. We did have the meals refunded but with no shop or vending machines near by we are all going to bed hungry.
Rooms……. Nice and clean and spacious however, no soundproofing at all. Someone down the corridor was playing really loud music all evening, as if to compete, another room tv was so loud we could hear it 6 doors down. And to top it off we can hear the music from the conference room below. Plus all the drunk people stumbling along the corridor loudly.
I will never stay here again or recommend to anyone.

Great facilities, clean and modern rooms, lovely pool and games room. Breakfast had a huge variety however the evening meal service was incredibly slow and the bedroom doors were incredibly heavy resulting in them banging loudly which was frustrating whilst trying to sleep.

Hotel and grounds were excellent, staff friendly and efficient. Excellent decor in the hotel.
Swimming pool can be extremely busy at weekends as it has members from the community.
Fridge in the bedrooms would be appreciated.
Lounge area is very welcoming.
Plenty of shops in Eastwood, surrounding area is good, retail park in Giltbrook is very good.
Fantastic place to relax. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds and comfortable pillows to sleep on.The cosmetics, including the body lotion were of very good quality. Good warm water temperature in the swimming pool, good high temperature in the sauna and steam room. Clean restaurant , great english breakfast, very good quality of coffee machine serving fresh coffee from the coffee beans.I recommend the room option with dinner.Great steak and fish and chips. Very nicely renovated bar area. I really recommend this hotel.
Very nice location and building. The staff is very friendly and approachable. The room was clean and spacious. I enjoyed the swimming pool, the steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi and the game room is a great addition. Wasn't too crowded either, there were times it was only us in the whole pool. We had a really enjoyable stay and there is a lot to explore as the grounds around the hotel are beautiful. Also has plenty of parking.
Great location, tucked away off main routes. Hotel is fresh and vibrant, the pet friendly rooms are ideal with blanket, treats and bowls plus being on the ground floor with accessible car park. Good shower in bathroom (always hard to find!). Lots of grounds for our Frenchies to run round. Large lobby and bar to have breakfast with the pets. Good value, will visit again.
There was nothing to fault with this hotel. The grounds were large and well kept, the bedrooms were large and very clean. The bathroom was much bigger than the average hotel bathroom with quality fittings. Even the towels were white and fluffy! The breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel for a stay.
Another pleasant stay at this hotel. The refurbished room with comfortable bed. The big pluses are beautifully scented bath, hand soap and body lotion. Very good price for a room with breakfast and dinner. Very good fish with chips and grilled sole . It was very pleasant to spend time in pool, sauna and steam room. I recommend this hotel.
Pleasant staff, homely feel to the accomodation. Quirkiness of room layout (made a pleasant difference to usual standard hotel rooms). The pub is very popular, and does a good range of pub food. The old buildng in the Eastwood location has a bit of a historic feel being the birth place of D H Lawrence.
- clean bedroom
- welcome pack for dog with bowl and blanket
- good room service
- leisure facilities were good
- Sanda from reception particularly lovely and helpful at check in and with needs
- room out of the way great because of busy hotel so less noise meant a great sleep
We were greatly surprised at the size of the hotel and facilities the bar and restaurant areas were large and relaxed with great staffing (very friendly) - ate in on the evening and enjoyed the setting and food - also brilliant breakfast self service with a great choice.
The hotel is a standard sort of wedding or conference venue. The rooms are large enough, clean enough and comfy enough. The grounds are superb if you have time enough and its dry.
The restaurant serves good food, and the staff pleasant.
Excellent choice for both breakfast and dinner.
All staff working at Eastwood hotel are friendly and helpful.
We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and their standards are consistently high.
Large hotel with alot of weddings and conferences, however good for lone traveller or couples to stay too - vast grounds, large bar, bedroom spacious.
Good sized swimming pool. large gym.
Breakfast very good with good choice except eggs scrambled eggs only and overcooked!!
Room very clean and bed comfortable
Overall the hotel was very clean and staff very good
The property was lovely and well kept hotel. The staff where more than helpful opening up breakfast early for us as we had to leave early for a conference.
