Eyemouth is a generally quiet town, few shops, the beach is ok but the harbour is more vibrant and busy with lovely chippy and The Ship and Oblos are lovely for food. We stayed in Eyemouth because I knew it was a perfect base for travelling to other towns on the East coast. Eyemouth is worth a visit but don’t expect too much activity.

.We had a lovely big, bright clean room...tea and coffee making facilities were provided in the room and we each had a bottle of water at our bedsides. The host, Amanda was very helpful...she told us where we could get a nice breakfast, we followed her advice and went to The Waterfront cafe where they had a good selection for breakfast. We had a walk around Eyemouth and called in for a drink at the Tavern where the bar lady was really friendly. I would have liked to stay longer at The Ships Quarters. Maybe need to visit again.

It looks a lovely town, but sadly lots of shops empty.

Harbour where you could buy food to feed seals, but not at the team we were there. Nice walk along a small pier, but lackof safety barriers was concerning - there is a 30 foot drop into the sea.

We used Eyemouth as a base to visit Lindisfarne, and it suited our needs well. The town itself was very charming to walk about and I would have liked to explore it further if we had had more time. The hotel seems to have an associated restaurant, where we had a very nice meal. There were various tasty options for breakfast places nearby.
The caravan was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Toiletries, towels and bedding were all included as was the use of bikes if we would have liked them. Everything was spotless and there was contact from the owner to ensure we had all we needed. It was in a great spot on Eyemouth Park Dean Resort. The site itself was also very clean and well cared for. We had free use of the local swimming pool and the walk along the cliff path and down into the town was great.
Quirky place to stay with a lot of past connected history. Beautiful views of Eyemouth and the harbour. Nisbet's Tower was very cosy and immaculate throughout. Lots of options for walking from Eyemouth, we did St Abb's, the nature reserve and lighthouse along the coastal path. Would definitely recommend this place, very comfortable. So nice to see this beautiful old historic building being put to use for the enjoyment of many. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.
This accommodation was selected as our first stepping stone in Scotland and a base for our vi to bamburgh castle. We did not have any idea what was in Eyemouth and did not have any Idea of the hotel. It was a very pleasant surprise to arrive and find everything just so. A very lucky find. I would not hesitate to rebook or to recommend it. Zoe was very pleasant and helpful.
The flat was exceptional. It was very spacious and equipped to a high standard. The beds were very comfortable. It was well positioned on Eyemouth’s High Street. A most enjoyable stay especially since the Herring Queen Festival was on. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property. We were a family group with 2 children.
I loved everything , the peace and quiet the local restaurants in Eyemouth. The pods and the location were just perfect, everything was spotless and the staff were on hand if needed. I had the best two night stay and will definitely be returning
Spacious first floor 2 bed flat, comfy beds. Some good places for food & drinks in Eyemouth. Fish & Chips from Giacopazzi’s were amazing. Easy to travel to visit other places, lovely beach at Coldingham Bay , great walk to St Abs Head.
Fantastic rooms, especially the family room, with great views. Eyemouth has some nice places to eat had the seafood platter at the contented sole it was really good. Would recommend The Ships Quarters and hope to visit again.
Lovely lovely lovely hotel. Huge family room which was great for my family with 2 teenage boys. Super clean, wonderful little touches like biscuits with the tea service in the room. Would stay here again for sure.
Stunning cottage centrally located in Eyemouth. Minutes walk to the beach and restaurants but also in a quiet location. Spotlessly clean, everything has been well thought out to make your stay enjoyable.
Location excellent
Breakfast excellent
Advice on places to eat was perfect
Eyemouth is a hidden gem, lovely place, lovely people, great restaurants, amazing cliff-top views of the North Sea.
Easy access of the A1 with ample parking. Lovely village to walk through and you can walk to the beach from here down a big hill. Not too far from Eyemouth or Berwick.
