Great location, beautiful venue. I enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the serenity of the garden. Nice quiet sofa areas in the hotel to relax. Good facilities although I was unable to use the pool or gym due to time constraints. Spa treatment was good. The glass fronted dining area is breathtaking.

Perfectly fine for a one night stay. I was in a single room that had everything I needed and breakfast was nice in the morning albeit in a very cold breakfast room

We like the area , there are some lovely walks around, through woodland and along the beaches. We used the ferry to go to Falmouth and across to St Mawes.
The Standard is a great place to eat, staff are friendly too.

Flushing is very quiet compared with Falmouth, but probably better than a small village. 2 pubs and a bar/restaurant, but they don't stay open too late. Sailing club cafe looks new and is a good spot, wasn't open when we were there. Convenience store very useful. Ferry to Falmouth is great but finishes early (5pm). Great, easy walk over to Mylor Harbour, either straight over the hill (25mins) or along the shoreside path. Parking tricky but we always found space. Very relaxed village. You tend to drive everywhere if not going to Falmouth. The foreshore is quite interesting and swimming from it is possible at the right stage of the tide.
The pub food is fairly limited but ok- we only ate in the Royal Standard.
