The motel was no more than I expected for a motorway stop. The one incident that has mated my stay is I registered my vehicle at reception when checking in and then got a ticket when I got home for the date and time I was register at the hotel. Not impressed at all. What is the point in registering when you then try and scam people for parking

A newly refurbished and fitted out hotel in an old bank that is just starting out. The first thing that stands out is that EVERYONE cares and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are superb and very comfortable and immaculately clean. The bathroom likewise.
The restaurant is small but the food is at the high end in terms of quality and presentation.
Proximity to Warrington Central Station makes it a great venue for exploring the wider area or as accommodation for work.
A great find and well worth considering.

We had a great stay. We really enjoyed our one day at the Holiday Inn as next day we had to take flight from Manchester airport which is nearer. Breakfast was superb. The Trafford centre is near which was perfect for us for shopping. Staff at reception were very friendly and we got to check out late as our flight was little late. Thankful for allowing our late checkout request. worth the money.
This hotel was renovated in 2023 and features an 18-hole championship golf course and a day spa. Guest rooms are located close to the Trafford Centre and the motorway network.

Great location that was minutes off the motorway. Pizza could be ordered even when the kitchen was closed and was delivered to your room. Dog friendly and staff friendly. Good vibe with laid back, fun interiors. Comfy bed and shower was great. Lots of parking.

If you want a quiet stay, look somewhere else.
If you want a quiet stay, look somewhere else. If you like evening events with good food, maybe this is for you. The location is quite pleasant, with a bus stop to The Trafford Centre and Manchester immediately outside, but check which 100 bus service it is.
Room was fantastic and close to everything. Food was very good. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Parking area was very spacious and well lit. We had two relatives also staying and one of them had reduced mobility and they got a ground floor room close to the car park which made their stay very easy and comfortable. Anna at reception is a huge asset to the hotel as are the other staff members. They also have a great entertainment program on offer on selected dates but not during our stay. Highly recommended.
Great location, three miles from the M6. Lovely local walks with maps available. Very friendly staff, lovely large and comfortable bed.
Had a meal in the restaurant very tasty and large portions. Very nice breakfast.
The hotel seemed to be a focal point of the village, during the day plenty of families enjoying the weather, play area for the children, walks and the hotels facilities.
The hotel was comfortable after a room change. Breakfast was well presented and just right.
One afternoon surprised to find a steam tractor in the car park. Seems local owners visit the bar when their engine is in steam. Had an interesting chat with the driver and fireman.
The hotel is an absolute winner. The staff are superb The rooms spacious and clean and the food is excellent. I will be returning here for certain and bringing the wife also. I can recommend this hotel to anybody that wants to have a great relaxing time in a superb location.
Breakfast- both the cold offering and the breakfast at the Station Irlam.
Comfortable beds
Pub/restaurant closes early so relatively quiet at night for a pub hotel
Enjoyed the walk leaflets
a nice hotel, good facilities, food excellent, bathroom was very clean but the bed left a bit to be desired, as the pillows and sheets protectors were very grubby
