A very traditional Yorkshire Hotel. The location was fantastic. The village of Hovingham is beautiful and boasts a range of lovely walks around the surrounding area. The food was traditional, wholesome and very tasty and, we assumed, locally sourced. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and ‘The Cricketers’ Bar at the hotel, had a very buoyant, local support in the evenings. If you want to sample a bit of traditional English rural hospitality and charm, The Worsley Arms Hotel has it.

The rooms were away from the main building giving us privacy, but we also knew that the staff were on hand if needed. All the staff were very friendly. The food was exceptional. The car park was off the road and felt secure

The room was spacious and clean with a big bed and a view of the castle from our window . The food was excellent arrived hot and very good value for money. The owners and staff were welcoming ,polite and attentive.
