Breakfast was excellent, order is placed the previous night, great idea as no wastage. Had the king size room which had a scrummy duvet which we needed as it was chilly outside. Bed was comfy. Location was a few minutes walk into the pretty village of Hawkshead with a couple of pubs and other small shops, the pubs get booked quick for evening meals. A great stay in all.

We had booked a double room with hot tub but were upgraded to a junior suite. Beautiful spacious room, lovely decor. Great friendly staff who kindly gave us a lift to the restaurant we had booked. Really lovely spa area with sauna, steam room and 2 jacuzzis...nice touch to have a bar poolside. Breakfast buffet offersd lots of choice.

Location was fantastic. The views from the suite were amazing. Just were only two towels in the room could've done with four due to having Jacuzzi in the suite and a bit more bottled of water the Continental breakfast was not the best. I've seen had mouldy grapes. But apart from that, the experience was amazing.
