The host was extra welcoming and very approachable. Sent us messages to check we were settled in okay and assured us that we could phone them.

Julian and Kate had left a very thoughtful range of breakfast options in the fridge and in the well equipped little kitchenette. Shower was amazing, the suite was tastefully decorated with all home comforts - and more. A short walk down to the picturesque harbour - an excellent location.

The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and so clean. Caroline and Mike, were super friendly and welcoming us to the area. They always checked in with us, and if we needed anything in the helicopter. Caroline and Mike also recommended us local places to visit in the area, and we visited different places, like Kynance Cove, Mullion Cove and other places too!

Helston has a long history, interesting shops and is a good starting point for visiting beaches, geology and ice cream!Since the by-pass, the town centre is safer! Big Salisbury's, Lidl. Access to the Lizard, Porthleven, Praa sands Kynance Cove all within 20 minutes travel. I stayed at the Premier Inn with its restaurant, car park and spacious room.

The quietude of the space was so right for me.
The quietude of the space was so right for me. Lizard Peninsula easy to get to and only took a few minutes. I loved the Llamas and donkey pottering around the site. Because the property had a balcony and good outdoor furniture. I could sit there and view the sea in the background.

Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape.
Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape. However, the surrounding area is wonderful. Porthleven, small but very friendly and welcoming. Location ideal for exploring the St Ives, Penzance, St Michael's Mount, and the coast from Porthleven round to Falmouth. Wonderful memories 💖. Thank you.

It had everything you would need for an extended stay to enjoy the surrounding area. It was picturesque and in a quiet location. The host provided a very informative email detailing things to do, see, and places to eat. We enjoyed his recommendation of the Helston Meadery on Wendron St. It was a short 12 minute walk to the town center. The hiking path across the small bridge nearby was quite enjoyable as well. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay.

There was a good variety of choice for breakfast's which was cooked to your preference. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet retreat /break away or to use as a base for visiting the Falmouth / Helston area. Thank you for a wonderful stay, if we plan another trip in the area I would definitely stay again.

It is very well furnished and maintained including the very large common rooms. Easy parking and the Tony’s bar next door was relaxing and very convenient. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were amazing and there was something for everyone’s taste. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Cornwall.

Being a big morning eater, the breakfast was one of the best I ever had in a Bed and Breakfast. My day started with a full belly! The bed were very comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The B&B is off the main road by about 300 metres, yet it was very quiet at night which was what I needed!

When it is windy, it feels like you are being calmed down by the helicopter movement. The hosts are great, love the Ukrainian flag greeting me. The breakfast was yummy and I had plenty of choices being a vegetarian. The shower and toilet were clean.
