The comfiest bed in our rooms and sofa in the lounge ever, wish I could’ve taken them home with me!!! View was insanely beautiful, decor of hotel was beautiful and perfectly done. Most accommodating workers and they were cute too which is a bonus, especially the Scottish guy, loved my redbull 🙈 Easy access to everything, help whenever we needed it, spa right next to our rooms which was so relaxing and perfect, felt safe and was always excited to come back home to this place! Breakfast every morning was very good, good food with good views, helpful workers, a very enjoyable first experience at the lakes and would most definitely come back again <3

The pool is the largest I have ever had in a UK hotel, and the water was clean. There was one lady who served at breakfast (with purple hair) who was very good and enthusiastic. She was picking up the slack from everyone else.

Did the job, cute wee room above a traditional Cumbrian pub. Great place to stay if you also want to enjoy some real ales and Cumbrian food. The staff were all lovely and it had good heating (not always the case in these parts). The breakfast the next day was tasty and served in front of a roaring fire.

The Farmstead is actually located in Water Yeat not High Nibthwaite. Water Yeat is a beautiful tiny hamlet. Nearest shop or pub is in Coniston. Beautiful night skies, no light pollution. Enjoyed the peace and quiet. Fantastic pub meal at White Hart Inn at Ulverston, about ten minutes drive.
