We loved the location and the whole art deco vibe. The staff were all lovely. The band on Monday night, particularly the singer were brilliant.

We stayed in the Brunel Suite, the room was gorgeous and really spacious- our little girl had her own bedroom which was great for her (and us!) the decor was lovely and the breakfast was delicious- couldn’t have asked for a nicer experience!

New couple recently taken over the place Ian & Clair. It’s a lovely old pub with nice choice of ales and spirts. Food wise yet to get started. I wish them luck and will go back in time to see how they’ve got on
Both pubs in the village were closed. The post Office and general stores is sadly stuck in the last century. The shelves were few, with lots of space between. It looked like a missed opportunity.
The atmosphere in the village was one of sadness.
