The property was stunning! The staircase was gorgeous, with a lovely stained glass window. The lobby was also very beautiful with a nice ceiling.

The location was great. The staff were friendly and gave us a very warm welcome, which is always so very much appreciated. The room was large with two big beds. The breakfast was good. There was luggage storage.

Our room was a typical hotel room adequate for our 2 night stay to visit the surrounding area. The restaurant and bar at the hotel were handy for dinner and drinks on both nights of our stay as the hotel is situated on the outskirts of Exeter. There were a wide variety of choices for the included breakfast. There were plenty of car parking spaces to park. Communication prior to our arrival was appreciated.

Hi girl on reception with dark blonde hair went above and beyond for us. She’s really a credit to your hotel. I wish I got her name. A hotel was amazing. It was my birthday weekend and I had a surprise in my room. Balloons a nice bottle of wine and goodies. The only downfall I would say if I had to say something would be the bed. It was very hard. But other than that, such a lovely stay. We’ve also rebooked for November to do some Christmas shopping.
This hotel’s Olive Tree Restaurant has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for its fine food, and there is an outdoor patio area where guests can relax in warm months.
