The location was set in the beautiful countryside with the sheep and lambs in reaching distance. Before arrival I had a special request because of allergies, The Plough were so accommodating with this. Checked in late evening and the staff offered to take our bags to our room whilst we ate and unwound from our very long journey. The food was delicious and the portions are a good size. The whole establishment was clean and well decorated despite ongoing some eternal improvements to the beer garden. I would highly recommend this little gem. The only thing I would say perhaps to add a children’s menu as not all children are big eaters and my nephew wasted the majority of the adults meal which was over £20 so expensive when they don’t eat large portions. We would definitely return in the future.

The breakfast was great with plenty of choice including coffee from a coffee maker, all that you could wish for a continental breakfast. The bedroom and bed were very comfortable and roomy. Particularly liked the little separate seating area with TV and fridge etc, also the outside space with table and chairs. A very comfortable stay, with a very warm and friendly welcome.
