The cabin was absolutely beautiful inside and out and very homely and the host very welcoming and friendly when we saw her. We had a fantastic weekend, especially with the hottub to dip into and let life just melt away for a while, especially at night looking up at the stars. In the day we had a lovely veiw for the sheep and cows. Highly recommend and we will be back again soon xx

The building was being beautifully restored by the owners and everything had a nice touch. The pre-dinner lounge with fire and drinks was a great idea and a good way to meet other guests. We would highly recommend dining at Isla Bank especially as there didn't seem to be anything comparable anywhere in Keith. My wife has an allergy and the hosts prepared a special version of the dish she had chosen that omitted the offending ingredient. This is old fashioned hospitality where the norm is to talk to others or sit quietly and read one of the hundreds of books available.

I have stayed in the Mash Tun on numerous occasions and always have enjoyed my stay, due to the friendliness of staff etc. and the excellent food and room comfort. However on this recent visit, the only positive was the room comfort.
