It was a 4 star hotel but in my opinion it should be 5 star
Staff were excellent room was spotless and food was outstanding. I've stayed in glen eagles and I think farlam was more relaxing.

Very welcoming hosts of a traditional period farmhouse B&B set in a rural location. Ideally located for visiting Hadrian’s wall and the local area. Had a very comfortable peaceful night’s sleep and an excellent hearty breakfast. The host very kindly booked us in the local pub which was a short walk away down the hill. Easy to find just look for the pink house!

The hosts make this little inn. My wife has some dietary intolerances and they really went out of their way to accommodate her. Staff all very friendly and food tasty and plentiful.

The location was superb, being on the national trail that we were walking. The owner was very helpful and friendly - there was a problem with the TV in the room but when we mentioned it he immediately and kindly swapped it for another from his own accommodation next door.
