The views are fantastic the owners helpful and caring.
The views are fantastic the owners helpful and caring. Our lodge was very clean, nicely furnished, comfy sofa and bed, new en suite bathroom. Although fairly close to the main road, sounds were not invasive and we both had excellent sleeps

The location, living in the outer Hebrides and travelling to Ullapool , the chalets are a short distance from the ferry this made it an ideal location to travel to Inverness and around the Black Isle. There are a number of unique shops in Ullapool and lovely small cafes. Leckmelm is a rural area and you need to travel into Ullapool for services. You could walk into Ullapool but this would be dependant on weather/mobility and therefore you need a car to access services/eating places etc. Leckmelm is a great base for exploring the Highlands and you can visit the Isle of Lewis from Ullapool. Please note winter sailings (from October) do not allow for time to disembark or explore the island .
