This was really convenient as a stop from London and to visit Leeds Castle the next day. Easy parking. Extensive buffet breakfast that was included in our price. Comfy room with a huge bed. Dinner was enjoyed there as well

Perfect and cosy small house with bathroom. Big bed, but for me mattress was very soft. There is a coffee machine with illy coffee.

What a great place, beautiful old pub, with 6 new mezzanines in a separate building. No noisy roads, only singing birds.
Breakfast is served in the room, great. Excellent dinner.
This friendly hotel with spacious accommodation rests in a peaceful country location just 10 minutes’ drive from Ashford International Train Station. It offers a free Wi-Fi access in public areas.

Breakfast was good. No oat milk😪. Cappuccino costs extra which I would consider part of breakfast.
Immerse yourself in the grandeur of Chilston Park Country House Hotel, a Grade I listed manor once home to politicians and Lords, set within 77 acres of rural parkland in Kent.

Lovely Georgian country house. The staff were friendly and in the main efficient and polite. They worked hard on a busy Valentine evening and we felt well looked after (But see below). Bed comfy and the restaurant food was very well presented and of a high quality. Drinks menu good and wine list reasonable and good overall.
The Dog & Bear was very comfortable. Great to have a bath with really hot water after a hard day walking the Pilgrims Way. Food was just what we needed, well cooked, filling and tasty. Staff were helpful friendly and interesting. Other places are available to eat. Many wonderful historic buildings in Lenham. Easy walk to the train station.

A lovely, very quaint village with friendly local people.
Next time I stay, I will hopefully take in a stroll, the weather wasn't great, for the short time we were there.
I can imagine during the Spring and Summer months, how beautiful the village square would be.

Incredible walks through fields just past the medieval church. I went to the local shop to buy some dog food and they let the dog in. I chatted to locals and visited some more of the shops all dog friendly. The village is beautiful and has a range of pubs and restaurants which I didn’t get chance to use. It was a really nice place to stay for a night. I would have like to have stayed longer. To top it off I heard a nightingale on my walk. I’ll definitely be back. I stayed in a dog friendly room at the Dog and Bear - lone female traveller with a small dog.

We went to Chapel Down vinery for a tour before staying at Lenham. The Dog and Bear was a little further than we expected down a lot of very scenic country roads but we had a very enjoyable stay for one night.

Sweet, quintessential English village.
Sweet, quintessential English village. The Bow Window coffee shop is first rate both food and staff. Under new management since beginning of February 2020.
Close to Leeds Castle and Chilston Park Hotel amongst beautiful countryside.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating to my partner and I. We stayed in the Victoria room, which was beautiful.
The food for dinner was brilliant and the area is so peaceful and relaxing.
We stayed as a birthday celebration for my partner and the staff made a "Happy Birthday" plate with sweet treats, which was a lovely surprise for him.
We spent the morning walking around the grounds and the lake is beautiful, even in the rain and cold.
We would recommend this hotel to anyone.
The room was comfortable. The bed was lovely and clean and soft. I liked the choice of hot drinks and provision of biscuits. The ensuite and bath were clean and of a high standard. The location of the hotel was central and I loved it's sense of history. The restaurant was excellent with a good evening meal and cooked breakfast.
The whole hotel is stunning! The Marble Hall, chandeliers, staircase, paintings and Dogs of Fo! Everywhere had something amazing to look at! The room we stayed in was huge and had everything we needed and more. The bed was ultimate luxury, as was breakfast in our room. We can't fault the hotel, staff or location.
Lovely room and food, but the staff were exceptional. Friendly, efficient, and one went above and beyond the call of duty driving to my next hotel a few miles down the road as I had left my kindle behind!
Clean and comfortable room. Very quiet and a great breakfast too. Ample parking and a great courtyard to enjoy a drink. Lenham is a lovely quiet village perfectly placed to explore the surrounding area.
The room was clean, well-appointed, and very good value for the money. Lenham is a charming and picturesque village, and the hotel's location on the village square was ideal for my walking trip.
This is a hotel of two halves. The front is a nice old coaching inn. Pleasant bar and dining room. Very good staff serving nice local beers and good-value pub food.
This was a nice hotel to stay at. Everything was wonderful. Breakfast was good with lots of food. In the front of the hotel is a bar and also a restaurant.
