The owners were extremely helpful and friendly and the welcome pack was the best we have ever had with every care taken to accommodate someone who may arrive late and not been able to do any shopping. We would certainly recommend this property.
The location was good and quiet.

A stunningly beautiful area, used it as a base to explore the whole of Lewis and Harris. Lots of single track roads which give the passenger lots of time to take in the stunning views. The roads are very quiet, and everyone is courteous and gives way in the plentiful passing places. You'll get friendly waves when you give way. I would love to come again and spend more time just enjoying the views and the birdsong. Highly recommend the Ravenspoint Visitor Centre - wildlife watching, self-service cafe where you pay a donation, lovely museum of local life, staffed by friendly and very informative volunteers.

The Lochs is an extraordinarily beautiful mixture of scattered small villages, small hills, big hills and (unsurprisingly!) lochs and lochans. It has a very interesting history and great walking tracks and paths.
