We informed the hotel that we were on honeymoon, but there was no mention of it during our stay. The location and the setting of the grounds were great.

Staff were helpful and nice, restaurant was good for dinner, breakfast was very nice but small portions for my husband. Great location and the room was very pleasant.
Liked that the venue provided a restaurant and a bar so if you didn't feel like it you didn't even need to leave the hotel for anything.

A wonderful period building with a lovely bedroom etc .The breakfast room was a delight to have breakfast in and the service was very good. The location was fantastic for all of the local sites and amenities. We enjoyed the bar/restaurant/beer garden too.
They even served my favourite beer- Timothy Taylor Landlord !! This all helped to make our first visit to Bourton-on-the Water a tremendous experience

Room was beautiful but to small for movement in it.

Just far away enough from the usual tourist centres of Stow and Bourton on the Water. Very pretty but still quiet country village. There are some good walks in the area and Upper slaughter is a don't miss place to see.

Beautiful hotel & grounds in idyllic village.
Beautiful hotel & grounds in idyllic village. Sadly the catering did not live up to expectation due to the quality, portion size & cost. Very disappointing meal.
Had hoped to bring my family there for my 80th birthday celebration. Will not recommend dining here but a lovely place to stay.

Lovely place to stay, superb area placed as it is beside the river eye and surrounded by well manicured gardens.
The hotel itself is clean, ordered and inviting. Reception staff welcoming , efficient & friendly. Staff on hand to help with luggage. We were pleasantly surprised we had been upgraded and delighted to be shown to a large, modern and nicely decorated ( & and spotlessly clean)room . Godolphin is one of the hotels superior rooms, situated in a quiet spot on the first floor of the hotel.
Breakfast ( included in our reservation) was freshly prepared and individually cooked to order, as were all other meals that we enjoyed at the venue.
Without exception all of the staff were professional but warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
All in all a great place to stay, dine in and enjoy.

Lovely hotel. Comfortable rooms, and a warm welcome. The vibe here is very cool with lots of great photography and art all around.
We didn’t eat in the hotel which was a shame - we had booked our stay short notice so restaurant dining times were limited. We chose to eat at the sister property - Slaughters Country Inn across the road which was really nice.
Hotel breakfast was superb. Would be very happy to stay here again.
The Slaughters is probably my favourite place in England. A tiny, quiet town with beautiful streets and houses. The Country Inn is in the middle of the small town and close to many Cotswold hiking routes. The hotel has high-quality facilities but has kept the old style charm of the cotswolds. The restaurant was our favourite part of our stay (the best toffee soufflé you will ever have) and a very good English breakfast!
The place is idyllic. The manor itself is beautiful, and the surroundings incredibly special. The town where the manor is located is very picturesque, charming, a very good example of the beauty of the Cotswolds. The location is fantastic to drive around and enjoy the beauty of this part of England's countryside.
The location is beautiful. The property is stunning. However the Garden Suite that we paid £720 for night for was awful.
The evening meal was lovely. Its a shame the hotel accommodation doesn't work to the same standards as the restaurant.
Staff were wonderful. Especially Jessica who went out of her way to help me with a question about the hotels gardens. Also, Seria (I think that’s how it’s spelt) was very helpful with questions about the local area and the hotel.
Location was really lovely, loved how sweet lower slaughter was to walk around in the morning and felt like a little secret spot. Great location to then do all the Cotswold hotspots from there! Staff was so so friendly.
Breakfast we good and dinner was an excellent menu. The location for visiting the Cotswolds was perfect. The hotel staff were very helpful and tried hard to accommodate requests at a difficult time.
We like everthing in the hotel. It is beautiful and each common area are lovely. Breakfast is nice with many menus. All bread and croissant are perfect. Staff are all nice and very helpful.
Very big room outside the main hotel. Zoe on reception couldn't have been more helpful, helping us to sort out meals. On site car park. The food we had at dinner was very good. .
